Campbell Krahner - Video Analysis
When playing this shots and similar ones your back foot is off the ground which means that you don't have a stable base to hit from, your head also needs to stay still and watch the ball on impact
You turn the ball a mile for someone who has a very upright release point but we can improve this by working on your hip drive and finishing off the action
Another example but again full face of the bat
Just highlighting the backlift which I would like to see being a bit more pronounced improving the bat speed and bat alignment
Again no stable base leads to no balance to be able to execute the shot. The backlift is something that we need to work on but highlighted in another video
In this shot you are at least trying to hit with the full face of the bat, the back foot still gets you into a tangle but its a work in progress
In my view your bat should be straighter and with a bit of backlift. Here you bat is pointing towards point which promotes hitting across the line
Your run up is a litlle out then in and end up infront of the umpire. Perhaps trying to coming in on a single lane from an angle to see how it feels.
When playing the straight ball your head alignment is not right. Outside the line.
