Nathan de Villiers - Video Analysis
Your gait is fine but perhaps running in straighter even at a small angle rather than a curve in at the end might keep things a bit straighter target to target. You also have a bit of chicken wings which if changed would make your action more compact.
Just a point of interest most times you land your back foot semi on but sometimes you land front on.
When playing a ball through mid on open your front foot up a bit more and try not to move the back foot towards leg you tend to lose balance and end up losing your shape and playing it through mid off
Sometimes you tend to move legside to the short ball and this means that you are exposing your stumps and also restricting your hitting zones
Good action I like it have a small collapse of the front leg but straightens up and locks. With a bit of strength and conditioning and age this will get even better
I would like to see you getting your foot just a bit closer to the ball and bending that front knee a bit more
Good shot I like the weight transfer which if we can get through all the shots I think will reap rewards
We are working at getting you a little bit closer to the ball but on this occasion you are rolling your wrists too early. Maintain the full face of the bat on impact and roll the wrists just after
Your arms in the run up have a bit of "chicken wings" if we can bring the elbows in a little it will make for a more compact action
